Salamatu Sule studied English and Literary Studies at the Kogi State University, Ayingba Kogi State, Nigeria. She is a Development Knowledge Volunteer, a social commentator, a poet and currently part of WRR’s Poetivist And VerseUp! movements on domestic abuse and violence against women and the girl child in Nigeria.
She enjoys her day with reading and reviewing books written by prolific authors. Sule is inspired by Rolland Barth’s Critical essay, ‘’The Death of the Author (1967).
Most of her works on societal issues like Community policing system in Nigeria has been published on the Burning Pot an online magazine. She has a good online presence with most of her works published on webzines, her poetry which can also be found on everything literature blogs, Sentinel online magazine, Parresia, Words Rhymes & Rhythm website.
She is the current Secretary, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and currently works as a Program Assistant with the Right to Know Nigeria, an NGO with basic focus on advocating for access to officially held information by government institutions and other private organization utilizing government funds through the Freedom of Information Act, 2011.
